Noah Latham breaks record at OFSAA

Jump Squad Athletics athlete Noah Latham, representing Notre Dame College School, delivered a historic performance at the recent OFSAA Track and Field Championships in St. Catharines, Ontario, winning the Novice Boys Triple Jump and breaking an 11-year-old championship record.

Noah's winning jump of 13.94 metres surpassed the previous OFSAA record of 13.74 metres, set in 2015 by Joshua Haughton of St. Marguerite d'Youville Secondary School. His record-breaking performance highlights a season of remarkable consistency and excellence.

With his OFSAA championship victory, Noah capped off an undefeated season in the triple jump, establishing himself as one of the province's top young athletes in the event. Throughout the season, he demonstrated outstanding dedication, technical development, and competitive poise, culminating in his historic performance on the provincial stage.

Now that the high school season has come to a close, Noah will turn his attention to the summer track and field season. His next goal will be qualifying for and competing at the Ontario Summer Games, which will be held later this summer in Cambridge, Ontario.
